At BETTER HUMANS, we understand that a certain amount of stress is necessary and actually beneficial to athletes, if controlled and properly managed! The major problem competing athletes encounter, while preparing for or during a competition, is having their mind work against them by creating damaging imagery. This condition causes excessive anxiety in the body, therefore weakening endurance, muscle strength, focus and agility.
Developing a Winning Attitude and Strong Confidence are essential topics in our sessions. BETTER HUMANS has developed a set of programs that specifically address the different stress factors impacting a team, parents, and of course, the athlete.
The stress levels vary according to the role the individual plays in that competition. Therefore, it is extremely important that coaches and parents understand their position and don’t over stress the competitor.
